Matt's Review of the Blues Training...

As one of the few people consistently posting hillcountry blues tutorials on Youtube, Heath and the Feedback Guitar Academy have been on my radar for a long time. When I saw the intro blues course, and that the 10-week course also includes access to the full FGA library, I figured it was time to take the plunge.

I'm halfway through the lessons now, and the bottom line for me is that THIS is the intro blues course I wish l'd had when I bought my first guitar: there's just enough theory to help you talk with other musicians about playing 12-bar blues, and just enough technique to help you get that classic acoustic-blues sound, but the emphasis is on building confidence and good habits while actually playing the blues. On top of that, Heath is right there giving personalized feedback based on what he sees in your playing. It's a legitimately fun and supportive experience that's easy to recommend: if you like the FGA content on Youtube, you'll love this course. -- Matt
